PageZephyr Desktop Search Features:

indexes Macintosh storage volumes.
allows you to search content in Adobe InDesign (.indd) and QuarkXPress (.qxp) files.
allows you to edit the query results and export content to RTF and TXT.
allows you to easily extract and conveniently export the text content to RTF or TXT.
allows you to import your Adobe and Quark content into a Wordpress blog.

User does not need Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress for PageZephyr to work.

WHAT'S NEW

Version 2.0:

is very different, providing a new approach that takes search much further by discovering content inside popular file formats that are \'non-common\' such as .indd (Adobe InDesign), .pub (Microsoft Publisher) and .qxd (QuarkXPress) for examination and important decision making.
allows searching in a specific area of interest across these different file types, to merge, edit and combine content for easy creation of new and relevant information pertinent to that topic.
also responds to detailed boolean queries by using AND, OR and NOT to further refine the search.

REQUIREMENTS

Mac OS X 10.5.8 or later.
Core 2 Duo Intel, minimum of Dual G5
4GB RAM (you can run with less RAM, but you may experience page swapping to disk depending on the number and complexity of the files you are indexing)
Any standard Mac hardware that will run Mac OS X 10.5.8 or higher
Minimum screen resolution is 1280 x 800 (MacBook Screen)
Apple Spotlight
An internet connection to activate the PageZephyr product
Minimum 5GB of Free Disk Space (When indexing large amounts of files you may need more free disk space. This is used as temp scratch space, so if you have less free disk space you may run out of memory or you may see your system respond very sluggishly as Virtual Memory requirements increase.)
