Slink is the easy way to remotely connect to your home network from anywhere. All shared services on your home network automatically appear in the Finder, iTunes, iPhoto, and other applications. (Just as they do at home!)

WHAT'S NEW

Version 1.0 beta (169):

• Feature: Slink now has full Growl notification support. (Just make sure you got Growl installed.) Useful when operating Slink from menu bar item. Configurable in Preferences > Advanced. Most Growl notifications are on by default.
• Feature: Slink menu bar item added. Allows Slink to be operated without the main window being visible. Useful when you want Slink to always run, but to take up a minimum of screen real estate. Configurable in Preferences > General. Default is to display menu bar item.
• Feature: Slink can now run as a menu bar item only. This means that the dock icon is not visible. Configurable in Preferences > General. Default is not to run as a menu bar item only.
• Feature: Slink can now be automatically hidden at login. Configurable in Preferences > General. Default is not to hide at login.
• Feature: Slink can now be automatically hidden at launch. Configurable in Preferences > General. Default is not to hide at launch.
• Feature: Slink can now display the number of remote services that are available for use as a dock icon badge. (Just as Mail.app displays the number of unread messages.) Configurable in Preferences > General. Default is to display the dock icon badge.
• Feature: The warning sheet displayed when connecting to a computer on the local network can now be turned off in Preferences > General. Default is to display warning sheet.
• Feature: The warning sheet displayed when quitting Slink when one or more computers are connected can now be turned off in Preferences > General. Default is to display warning sheet.
• Feature: Slink's dock icon menu now allows you to connect to computers.
• General bug fixes and improvements.
