smallluxGPU 1.4.7 - Command line OpenCL benchmarking tool. (Free)

utilities
smallluxGPU 1.4.7
SmallluxGPU is an 64 Bit OpenCL commandline app with an GUI around working as DEMO and BENCHMARK for OpenCL raytracing 4 demo scenes.

The project goal will be to work as an blender plugin for high speed previews or HQ rendering 3D Scenes. Visit the hompage of luxrender for more details !

I made the gui around that commadline app and added 4 scenes for fast and easy tests/benching.

Speed is shown in KSamles/Sec - the more the faster your CPU+GPU or GPU (if run GPU only mode)

smalllux is highly optimized and squeeze out all of your CPU cores and GPUs

It will use all OpenCL GPUs (up to 2) automatic for speedup the raytraycing task.

WHAT'S NEW
Version 1.4.7:
  • added benchmark feature which does measure time (in seconds, my 8800GTX needs 28 sec) to raytracing 32 samples/pixel. More easy to compare results than using the abcd kSamples/sec. Also this benchmark will not show the rendered scene, which results in an more acurate OpenCL speed measurement.
  • added an timecheck in that new benchmark - if less then 1,5 seconds used, an error message is shown. In such cases look in your console - slg will logged errormessages there.
  • moved and renamed the START button for RUNning selectable benches to the left window side
  • added gpu only ATI 4870/4850 results (kSamples/Sec) in the gpu only results window

REQUIREMENTS
  • Mac OS X 10.6.3 or later.
  • OpenCL GPU (ATI 48xx, NV 9400M, 8800GS, 8800GT, GTX 285)
