WhoPaste can create contacts in Address Book, Entourage, or Google Contacts by extracting the name, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses, websites, even instant message handles from the current text contents of the clipboard. WhoPaste supports plain text, rich text, and spreadsheet data clipboard information.

Invoked by a user-configurable global hot key, WhoPaste is instantly available within any application.

WhoPaste puts a citation for the source of the information in the notes field, allows the user to review the data.

Each of the 4 major address book formats {Apple's Address Book, Marketcircle's Daylite, Google's Contacts, and Microsoft's Entourage are supported; there are customized actions for each repository.

WhoPaste supplies a number of on-screen widgets to easily perfect the extracted information before saving and several post-processing options including executing custom AppleScrips.
